In the year 1729, May 13th, John Bru bacher and his wife Anna, sold and con veyed 150 acres of the above 500 acres, on which were erected the grist and saw mill, to Christian Stoneman. Tradition says, he was under the impression that the Milling business has a tendency to lead men into dishonesty.
